If you or someone you know has a child that was born with an undetected neurological disease or any other terminal and chronic condition, or even special needs; please know that we are here to help in as many ways as possible.These children are so special and they pull at your heart strings and you just fall in love with them. It is our mission to never let these children or their family members feel left alone or forgotten. These are God’s ‘special children’ and it is our mission to let these families know that God loves them and that they are not forsaken or alone, and that we will be there always.
These families are going through more than any one person can imagine, from being separated from their families during hospital stays; which is quite frequently. So much so, to where it has caused financial burdens, stress in relationships, blame, confusion, depression and the worst part, not knowing if their child will wake up to see the next sunrise. There are so many times that these families feel as if they have been abandoned and are suffering through this on their own, and then to have people stare at them with pity. In reality all they want is for someone to reach out and tell them that they care, or just give them a hug or a word of encouragement.Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring. All of which have the potential to change a life. We are here to give these children and their families the ‘unconditional’ love that they are longing for and deserve.
It is my hope and prayer to be able to reach out tho help so many more families and their children that are going through this, but I cannot continue to do this alone. It is only by the grace of God and the support from our sponsors that we have been able to do this. We have so much more to do and cannot do it without your thoughtful and generous donation. I know together we can reach out to more of these families that are struggling and coping with the fear of not knowing if their child will be with them tomorrow. For the has said, what you have done unto the least of these you have done unto Me.
We are not promised tomorrow. So let’s make today count!
